New Water Over the last few years I’ve really improved my health by making sleep more important than anything else, quitting caffeine and sugar, and avoiding social media and television, but I needed a better water system. I had seen videos from @altdwater about how their water systems could extract water from the humidity in the air, and since the air in Hawaii is cleaner than the pipes our water runs through, I reached out to them and they provided me with their T-12 unit to use and review. I’ve only had it a month, but here’s what I can tell you: -The T-12 costs $3999 because it’s a heavy, commercially built, all stainless unit with the ability to extract over 10 gallons of water per day. -The air intake has a filter, and the water is also filtered and mineralized before being chilled in a 7 gallon ozone cleaned reservoir. -The unit works hard while in operation so it does make some noise. -The water looks and tastes amazing. I haven’t received my electric bill yet, but I’ll let you know if there’s a difference. I reached out to @altdwater because I wanted something better than the reverse osmosis system I was using before. Here are the problems the T-12 is solving for me: -No more chemically treated water running through miles of dirty old pipes to get to my location. -Not wasting 5 gallons of this water to make one gallon of reverse osmosis water. -Less exposure of this water to the many plastic reverse osmosis filters, tubes, and storage tank. -Not having my water run through old, gunk clogged filters. The T-12 does use a single NSF-61 water filter, but it lasts much longer because the water it’s filtering is very close to distilled so there are no particulates, heavy metals, and solvents to clog it like with tap water. The water is good so over the last month my water consumption has gone up a lot, and that’s really been good for my joints and mental clarity. Now that my sleep, my diet and my water are dialed in, I’m looking forward to getting strong again as I work through some of my old injuries. Aloha, Bill
