SOEn menos de 1 hora prepara un snack delicioso, alto en proteína, sin azúcar y que favorece tu digestión por su fibra.
Ingredientes:
• 236 g de fresas (o 9 fresas)
• 2 tazas de yogur griego natural sin azúcar
• 2 sobres de grenetina sin sabor (14 g)
• ½ taza de agua para la grenetina
• 2 cucharadas de semillas de chía (20 g) hidratada en 1/2 taza de agua
• Endulzante al gusto (opcional)
• 1 cucharadita de vainilla
Preparación:
* Hidrata las semillas de chía en 1/2 taza de agua hasta que se forme mucílago, unos 10 min.
* Hidrata la grenetina en 1/2 taza de agua, deja solidificar y luego caliéntala 30 segundos en el micro.
* Licúa las fresas, yogur, endulzante y vainilla.
* Integra la grenetina a temperatura ambiente.
* Vierte la mezcla en un recipiente, añade la chía y mezcla bien.
* Sirve en moldes individuales, 150 ml cada uno, y refrigera toda la noche. ¡Listo! ¡Disfruta tu gelatina saludable!

NEIn extremely exciting news from Codfish Island / Whenua Hou, kākāpō have begun to breed.
Only 236 kākāpō remain, including just 83 females of breeding age. They’re spread across a handful of offshore islands and mainland sanctuaries, with breeding expected on Codfish Island, Anchor Island, and Chalky Island.
Kākāpō only breed every two to five years, and the last time they bred was in 2022. On December 29, 23-year-old Pearl was the first female to mate. She chose Boss, one of a handful of Stewart Island founder males still alive. He has bred with her a number of times in the past, including in 2022, when she mated with both Boss and Joe, but Boss turned out to be the father of her chicks. She has since been found sitting on two eggs, and we’ll know soon whether they are fertile.
Esperance has mated too. She is also 23 years old and is the daughter of Flossie and Bill, both founder birds, though Bill passed away some years ago. Last breeding season she mated with Ralph, who has no living chicks, but the eggs were infertile. In previous seasons she has favoured old Nog, who has very few living offspring. Both are founders, and it would be a considerable boost if either produced offspring, especially Nog, who is likely one of the oldest birds in the population.
Finally, young Huhu, daughter of the much-loved and now deceased Huhana, has mated for the first time too. She has yet to lay, and we don’t know who she mated with, but it’s an exciting time for kākāpō as they face potentially their biggest breeding season on record.
