🩵 Ryker Jay Caudill 🩵 9•9•24 The last 12 hours have been a wild one! Baby decided he wanted to come early. I didn’t get the VBAC I wanted and that’s ok! We ended up having to do a c-section due to him being breech and we needed to proceed with delivery! Me and baby boy are doing amazing though!!! He is healthy, no concerns/condotions and progressing in all ways he should! He is breathing on his own, with just have a little extra oxygen and monitoring vitals. He doesn’t even look like a preemie (33 weeks) he’s got some meat on him @ 4lb 8oz! Full birth story coming soon. For now soaking up this handsome little man ❤️ we are so freaking happy and obsessed!!!! @nickcaudill33 P.S. my BIRTHDAY is today too 😂 9/10

Honey Mustard Glazed Spiral Ham!! The spiral ham that will help your Easter plans!! Save this recipe and try it for yourself on Easter or any occasion that calls for a nice glazed ham. You won’t be disappointed 😊🙌🏾🙏🏾 Recipe, 1 4lb Spiral Ham (fully Cooked) 1 cup Honey 1/2 cup Butter 3 tablespoons Dijon Mustard Brush ham throughly making sure to get inside all the layers. Place ham in a roast tray and place in oven for 2 hours at 325f. Glaze 2 cups Pineapple juice 2 tablespoons Grainy mustard 1/4 cup Brown Sugar 2 tablespoons honey 1 tablespoon Dry Jerk spice Bring this to a simmer and reduce by half or until it starts to thicken. Once Ham has cooked for 2 hours remove from oven. Apply the glaze and put it back in for another 10 minutes. Allow to rest for 10 minutes and serve. Mix pan drippings along with any leftover glaze to make a delicious finishing sauce. #eastersunday #spiralham #easyrecipes

Ingredients: -4lb chuck roast (I actually did half short rib but kinda wish I did all chuck roast… do what you will with that knowledge🫡) -1/2tbsp salt and pepper -1tbsp olive oil -12 guajillo chiles, 5 ancho chiles, 5 árbol chiles (all seeded, stemmed and rinsed) -3 large Roma tomatoes (quartered) -1/2 yellow onion (quartered) -1 Mexican cinnamon stick -3 bay leaves -1/2tsp peppercorns -5-7cups water -2c beef broth -1/4c distilled white vinegar -5 garlic cloves -1tsp ground cumin, 1tsp Mexican oregano, 1/2tsp ground cloves For the tacos: Oaxaca cheese, cilantro, lime and diced white onion Recipe: -add chiles, tomatoes, onion, cinnamon stick, bay leaves and peppercorns to a med sauce pan. Fully submerge in water, bring to boil. Cover and let simmer for 10 min -season beef with salt and pepper. Cut chuck roast into quarters. Heat a large Dutch oven on med-high. Sear meat until browned on all sides (you’ll need to do this in batches). Add all the meat back and remove from heat -to a blender add chiles, tomatoes, onions, peppercorns and 1c of the liquid it was cooking in (discard cinnamon stick, you can leave it but I personally don’t like tasting a lot of cinnamon😂). Add beef broth, white vinegar, garlic, cumin, oregano, cloves. Blend in high until smooth. Strain sauce through a fine strainer into the pot with the beef -stir meat and the sauce together. Bring to a boil, cover and let simmer for 3-3 1/2 hrs until meat is fall-apart tender -transfer meat to a bowl and shred. Keep some consomé for dipping. Add meat back to the pot. Taste and add salt if needed -heat a large cast iron on med-high. Dip tortillas in consomé. Add to the pan. Add cheese, meat and cook until golden brown on both sides. Add cilantro and onion to the tacos before serving!!
