Quick history:
52 Blocks (aka Jailhouse Rock) comes from NYC’s street + prison boxing culture, built for tight spaces, chaos control, bone-on-bone defense, and counter-pressure. 🗽⚔️ It’s not a performance art — it’s survival-based boxing intelligence.
The technique I’m using here:
👉🏿 Skull & Bones — the classic 52 elbow-forward frame used to shut down hooks, smother pressure, AND damage the opponent’s hands when they punch into your bone structure.
What it actually does:
When they throw wide punches, they crash into:
🦴 the point of your elbow
🦴 the ulna ridge
🦴 the hard forearm frame
That means:
❌ Knuckle damage
❌ Wrist pain
❌ Boxer's fractures
❌ Broken rhythm
❌ Forced hesitation
Your “block” becomes forward pressure and punishment at the same time. 🧱💥
Here’s the full sequence:
👉🏿 Right parry – disrupt their jab
👉🏿 Left parry – force them to swing wide
👉🏿 Rear Skull & Bones – elbow shield vs their left hook
👉🏿 Lead Skull & Bones – block the opposite side & keep pressing
👉🏿 Lead roll – slip the follow-up and load power
👉🏿 Left hook – perfect counter on the exit
👉🏿 Cross – straight through the guard
👉🏿 Uppercut – split the center as they shell
