MAYesterday was a success!! Yay for @the_abta and ALL who came to support and run/walk the #bt5klosangeles to help raise important funds for research and other resources for those fighting the important fight against Brain tumors and Brain Cancer!
Many of you know that my late husband Sean was diagnosed with Brain Cancer (Glioblastoma) after scans found several inoperable brain tumors deep in his brain. This disease has no cure and so with special care and a clinical trial he survived for 18 months and we made as many memories as we could with our young son Gus, our family and friends.
We continue his fight today! And I am grateful to those who have also helped us keep his fight going. Thank you to all of contributed online in our names. We will not stop. We will continue to honor our loved ones who’ve gone before us and we will continue to fight so that one day, no one else will have to lose their dad, mom, husband or, wife, and baby to this deadly disease. It’s the worst of the worst cancers and gets little to no funding for new treatments, let alone research. I hope that you’ll include Brain Cancer in your gift giving this year. And maybe in our lifetime we will finally see a cure!
