Cities stood still, streets were empty, and suddenly videos began to appear of dolphins swimming in canals, deer calmly walking along avenues, ducks crossing asphalt without fear, and even jaguars and alligators showing up in unexpected places here in Brazil. It felt as if nature had taken a deep breath of relief, showing that when humans slow down, wildlife can flourish again.
The planet will always remain alive, even without our constant rush. Human presence, with pollution, noise, and movement, pushes animals away. All it took was a pause for them to return and reclaim the spaces they had lost.
