Nature always has a surprise waiting 😍 - Today I went on a little coastal walk down on the Great Ocean Road and I got quite the fright when I came across this little fella! Koalas can be found all across Victoria and I’ve been lucky to spot a few in the wild but I’ve never seen one this close to the trail so it was such a special encounter. Located three hours south west from Melbourne, the Blanket Bay to Parker Hill walk is a scenic 10km hike that will take you past sweeping ocean views, hidden beaches and plenty of chances to spot all kinds of native wildlife. As well as koalas, I also came across a few echidnas, wallabies and kookaburras! If you’re looking for a fun and moderate day hike this summer then definitely check out this coastal walk. - p.s- if you’re travelling the Great Ocean Road and you want to see wildlife without hiking then check out @wildlifewondersaus! It’s a gorgeous sanctuary near Apollo Bay that offers guided tours and keeper talks. - #seeaustralia #greatoceanroad #travelaustralia
