HAI wish this answer was black and white, but unfortunately it’s not. Like I said, technically to be a “scientist” you need to have a Bachelors of Science. But it doesn’t need to define your career. If you intern one summer and learn how to delineate a wetland, that will stand out more on your resume to companies than whether or not you could pass calculus. If you’re really struggling to pass a math, chem or physics class, then don’t let that discourage you. You can decide to get a B.A. and take all the same classes as the B.S. major just without the math, chem and physics. I see people saying “I wish this was my career but I can’t pass physics”. It’s okay!! It can still be your career! Physics was my arch nemesis.
