If we want to be stronger, faster, and more resilient on the court, our training needs to reflect that reality. This is a quick 10min ball handling workout that can easily be done at home in your driveway or backyard, or down at your local court 🏀🔥 I had a lot of requests for some skill based programs suitable for juniors / young players to be made available through the Basketball Performance Membership, and so I made Handles! 📲🙌🏽 It’s a 6 week ball handling program with 3 x 10min workouts per week. Each workout involves a combination of stationary and dynamic dribbling drills that can all be performed with only 1 basketball. Basketball is one of the most demanding sports on the planet. You can’t eliminate the stress that comes with it — but you can control how your body handles it. The players who last the longest aren’t always the strongest — they’re the most adaptable. Most hoopers train to perform: strength, power, speed. But the ones who perform and stay healthy train to protect too — through mobility, stability, and variability. 👉 Research shows that teenage athletes in high-impact sports (like basketball) already show structural hip changes. These changes can help performance, but they also increase the risk for tightness, hip impingement, and labral injuries later on. If you’ve ever had hip, groin, or hamstring tightness that just won’t go away — this is for you.
