MC🚨 Weekend Tragedy on Jamaica’s Roads 🏍️💔
Police are probing two fatal crashes that claimed the lives of two motorcyclists in Clarendon and Westmoreland over the weekend.
The victims have been identified as:
▪️ Marvin Carridice, 48, of Lionel Town, Clarendon
▪️ Maurice Robinson, 22, of Fort Williams, Westmoreland
Reports indicate that around 10:15 a.m. Sunday, Carridice was travelling along Bustamante Drive in Lionel Town when his motorcycle collided with a Toyota Probox. He was taken to hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
In the second incident, about 5 p.m. Saturday, Robinson was riding along the Fort Williams main road when he crashed into a parked Toyota Coaster truck. The collision left him seriously injured and his motorcycle extensively damaged. He was transported to hospital and later pronounced dead.
Investigations are ongoing by the Whithorn and Lionel Town police.
