Things to do:
🌲 Camp at @coloma_resort (riverfront campsites)
🌲Walk to Marshall Gold Discovery State Park @marshallgolddiscovery
-(Gold panning $10ea. 10-3pm every hour on the hour) They teach you how and provide the baskets and viles.
-Historic sites, saw mills, blacksmith demos
-Museum
-You can park at the Museum too for a fee
🌲Gold panning yourself, the river is moving quick. I wouldn’t do that with little kids
🌲Hike Mt. Murphy trails nearby and see poppy flowers
🌲Visit Argonaut Cafe for breakfast/lunch @argonautcafe
🌲River rafting on the American river (we haven’t done this yet)
🌲Fishing
