3620 plus years ago, many of us in this gym were just trying to find our way and figure this thing called life out, and Alice noticed our talents and gifts and chose us to apply them by giving back to others by employing us as camp counselors, volunteers, mentors and so on and so on. This isn't everyone either. Believe me she led many more of us to become outstanding human beings with her guidance and wisdom. This gym, fostered some of the best hoopers. R.I.P to Lonnie, if you know, you know.
2006, I was a sports camp counselor for the YMCA for two years while in college. It was the most fun time I've ever had meeting new people, and just watching little kids eyes light up when they would see me and my guy @mrvizion63 and my God dad @tybrown8 come in at 8am to start camp. When you talk about a village, man, everyone really cared about each other as a family here. It's sad to hear that this place will officially close.
Shoutout to @houseisthename, who reached out to me on LinkedIn to be there. I wish you could have played in that first game with me and . I was trying to give @billypedia @datboi_billy4 @billybrown2023 and Nick a run for their money. 🤣..

We were honored to be part of the Free Throws for Kids event raising money for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center
and the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Thank you to everyone who supported us, donated, cheered, and showed up. We had an amazing time today, and moments like this remind us why giving back matters so much. 🫶
