CHPeople are always amazed when I use little known hacks to calm their children’s nervous system and bring them back to their true natures. It’s partly why I became a Child whisperer- So I could use my ancestor’s ancient African wisdom to train children’s emotions, senses & movements & bring calm back to their bodies.
As a Montessori educator, I learned that movement is learning.
Children need to move their bodies to regulate their minds. Without movement, they can’t process emotions or focus properly.
But it was only when my son’s ADHD made him unmanageable that I began to tap into the traditions I’d inherited from time immemorial- because ancient African traditions hold the keys to modern neuroscience.
When I look at how many children in the West are struggling with dysregulated bodies, it’s no surprise to me. Too many screens, too little movement, food that isn’t nourishing, with parents left shouting and yelling at every disruption.
So try this little hack. If your child is very young ask your child to jump 13 times every day and if they’re older, give them a skipping rope and if they’re older than that, take them to a trampoline park and if you can afford it, sign them up for gymnastics. 🤸🏾
