2. “Nothing to prove, only to share.” This calms my nerves before a performance or audition.
3. “I don’t want to see you think, I want to see you dance”. Dance is expression after all, don’t get so caught up in the steps.
4. “Commit. Even if it’s wrong, commit.” Never telecast to the audience or the front of the room that you’re wrong. They would never know.
5. “Dance for the people in the back row.” Those people are just as important (if not more important) than those in the orchestra. Dance for the people who are seeing dance for the first time. Let your energy radiate far past the first few rows. Take up space.

Here’s a glimpse of what our students have been creating this term. In just 5 weeks, we brought a swing-inspired routine to life—blending classic 1930s solo jazz steps with Charleston, all set to the iconic *“In the Mood”* by Glenn Miller 🎶
This clip features our Thursday morning group in Hove, where the women took inspiration from the Land Girls, embracing joyful spring colours and vintage style. 🌸
At the end of every term, we celebrate by dressing up, performing together, and taking a moment to appreciate how far we’ve come—it’s always such a special way to finish.
