Dark mode double exposure works in reverse from traditional doubles. Instead of adding light, the darker exposed areas in our second photo replaces the brighter areas in the first photo.

LURight on time !
Double exposure made at the train station of Lausanne 🇨🇭. The first photo is of the train door. The second photo is of a woman boarding a train.
I used the window in the train door from the first photo to create a frame around the person entering the train in the second photo.

"I know I shared a similar photo some time ago so here is some behind the scenes on how to easily layer the light trails over the sunset view. Of course having the picture profile and white balance set for the desired colors is essential to start off. But I think the most important part to achieving a good contrast here is to wait toward the end of the sunset to layer the second image. That way you get the best of both worlds. Nice sunset colors and light sources that are more prominent as it gets darker. Taking less available light to your advantage, you can use a slower shutter speed as well. Here, I did a straightforward tilt down at a one-second shutter speed and I’m pretty happy with the outcome and like the way it feels. Eventually, I will come back to try and layer a close-up silhouette over this view. Stay creative 🫶"

IN“The Architect”
New mural in Crotone, Italy for @gulia_urbana .
A visual exploration of the human form — revealing the inner architecture of a woman standing still, yet radiating force.
She’s built from both flesh and bone, but also from balance, proportion, and the invisible laws that hold us together.
The piece is based on additive color theory — using red and cyan to create depth, contrast, and duality.
It holds three visual dimensions: one visible to the naked eye, and two hidden layers that can be revealed using cyan and red lenses.
Each layer tells a different story, depending on how you choose to see it.
Crotone is the city where Pythagoras once taught — his legacy shaped the design. A triple-circle halo symbolizes harmony, while a simplified Tetraktis of 10 dots floats around the portrait, referencing his philosophy of cosmic order.
Red and blue. Structure and spirit. The seen and the unseen.
