LEThank you for witnessing my artwork evolve, crack, reshape, return, and explore… I don’t know what I’m doing. But when I look back at the works I made 10 years ago, I genuinely cannot believe how far I’ve come.
Every moment of devotion feels like a tiny little step, but I rarely consider the giant leap that all those tiny steps inevitably become. I feel like I’ve barely done anything, and like I’ve created a whole new world for myself all at the same time.
I had a dream last night of a human that kept changing shapes and sizes. Morphing into huge structures and tiny blobs. But they picked up one of my pieces and told me it was their favorite possession. I was excited and said — “I know right! You don’t have to change yourself to fit it; it adapts to fit you.”
And I woke up thinking… damn. That’s just it. All of my adornments are is adjustable sizing and meant to fit any human with any body. (I even stopped making cuffs because I didn’t like how they were fixed sizes). I want my pieces to empower people.
You’re all so beautiful. AndI just want you to feel that.
The same goes for wall pieces. Our little spaces matter more than we might think. Some of my miniature wall art is some of my very favorite, because you have to slow down to appreciate it. It’s not just some 6ft piece behind the couch that you can see from all angles. It’s the 5 inch butterfly in the hallway or the 4 inch landscape under the mirror. They adapt to their spaces. They fit anywhere.
And you have to stop to witness it. They don’t yell at you for attention. They sit there, gently, adding beauty to small spaces.

JORAINBOW FEATHERS - CUTTING OUT
I’m continuing to bring JOY and COLOUR with this new feather necklace. Feathers are very symbolic and I have designed my feathers to reflect the positivity in them. This design is inspired by tropical birds feathers with a twist.
After spending hours cutting out the pieces is next on to the stitching. 🪡🧵

WIEver done a workshop that made you want to quit your job and be an artist?
This one day @james.ort workshop did exactly that for me. I haven’t quit my job haha but I was so inspired, and also amazed at how James managed to teach us all how to create these sculptures in such a short period of time. This is without a doubt my favourite piece! 🧡

SUOnce upon a time I had an experience with earth medicine that ripped through all of my ideas and beliefs to the core of actuality. It was one thing happening, a generous singularity that excluded nothing. It took years to process and integrate.
This bag is a valentine to that trip, the immediacy of the gift, the ephemera and the death, none apart from each other. This bag will be very rainbow-filled, which I love because it is a sign, a kiss on the cheek.
I hope to complete this bag by summer’s end, but hahahaha, right? Life will figure that out. I have been sitting with this one for actual years.
