THHace solo dos años, ver caminar a un robot humanoide causaba más risa que asombro por sus movimientos rígidos y temblorosos.
Hoy, al comparar los modelos de 2023 con las actualizaciones de 2025 de Figure y el Optimus de Tesla, la diferencia es simplemente irreal. Han pasado de luchar por mantener el equilibrio a mostrar una zancada fluida y natural.
Esa “rigidez robótica” que todos recordamos está desapareciendo. Ahora vemos un balanceo de brazos orgánico y una coordinación en tiempo real que ha dado un salto cuántico en ingeniería. Ambas compañías han logrado que sus máquinas no solo caminen, sino que se muevan con una agilidad que empieza a borrar la línea entre la mecánica y la biología.
Lo más impactante no es lo que hacen hoy, sino la velocidad de esta evolución. Si en solo 24 meses pasaron de apenas caminar a moverse con esta naturalidad, el 2027 promete avances que quizás ni siquiera podemos imaginar hoy.

MIFigure 3 @figure_robot just launched, and I’m amazed by the design team’s work (@syd_hardy , @day_toner and more). The soft, flexible textile gives it a warmer, more human feel. Scifi gets reality crazy fast.. It makes me wonder what role future humanoids will play, how they integrate in our every day life or wether they will look human-like but not uncanny, blending naturally into our homes with a trustful appearance. How much of a face is needed? Imagine if fashion brands like Adidas or Prada got involved, would you customize your humanoid to match your style, or let it choose its own?
Allways loved @day_toner ’s Robot Recall and @ben_mauro ’s Chappies conceptart and @danluvisiart Gabriel to name a few.. Now, AI makes it easier than ever to express ideas.. not even touching a pen (also thanks to those artists 👏🏻)
