FAThe wild thing about waking up to what’s actually in the grocery store… is realizing how little of it you truly need.
Most of those aisles aren’t food — they’re products.
Bright packages, long ingredient lists, and things our great-grandparents wouldn’t even recognize.
And once you start growing a little food, cooking from scratch, raising a few chickens, buying from farmers, or simply reading labels… something shifts.
Suddenly the grocery store gets really small.
You walk past aisle after aisle realizing none of it is meant to nourish you — it’s meant to keep you coming back.
These days I’m mostly there for a few basics. The rest?
It’s coming from the garden, the kitchen, the backyard, and the people and farmers in my community who still grow real food.
And honestly… I’ve never felt richer. 🌱🥚🥕
