Three years ago, I knelt where it happened. The exact place where Jesus gave His life for us. This year, it’s closed. No one can enter and no one can feel the awe and flood of love I felt✝️
But maybe it was never about the place. Wherever we are, on April 3, may we remember this truth. Someone who loves you died for you. You are worth His life. You are infinitely loved and precious to Him❤️🔥

Black Saturday is the day between Good Friday and Easter Sunday, a time of quiet reflection and waiting. It’s a day to remember Jesus’ body lay in the tomb, and His disciples waited in uncertainty.

✝️ “Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” Psalm 27:14
🙏🏼 “Lord, in this Holy Saturday stillness, I wait with hope. I continue to contemplate how Christ’s family and followers must have felt after witnessing the horrific crucifixion of their misplaced hope. They did not know that their shattered dreams would soon be replaced with rejoicing and real hope. Your promises are not bound by time nor death. Thank You for taking me back to remember the moment You took my darkened brokenness and replaced it with a new heart filled with Your light and peace. Prepare my heart now for Easter Joy. Use me daily to share this true blessed hope to all. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.”
