RZ Sandwich Bread Yield: 1 standard loaf Ingredients 1 1/2 to 2 cups warm water about 105°F - 110°F warm, not hot 2¼ tsp active dry yeast or 1 packet 2 tbsp honey or sugar 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter 1 1/2 tsp salt 3½ cups all-purpose flour or half AP + half bread flour for extra chew (plus more as needed) Directions • In a small bowl or liquid measuring cup, combine the warm water, yeast, and honey/or sugar. Stir gently and let sit for 5–10 minutes, until the mixture becomes foamy and activated. Stir in the salt and oil. • To a large bowl, add the flour and pour in the yeast mixture. Using a wooden spoon or Danish dough hook, mix until a soft, slightly tacky dough forms. • Knead the dough for 5–7 minutes by hand or 3–4 minutes using a stand mixer until smooth, elastic, and cohesive. • Place the dough into a lightly greased bowl, cover, and allow it to rise for 25–30 minutes, or until doubled in size. While it rises, grease a loaf pan and set it aside. • Once doubled, gently punch down the dough to release excess air. Fold the dough into itself, then transfer it to a lightly floured work surface and gently stretch it out. • Shape the dough into a loaf using a tuck-and-fold method, creating surface tension as you roll it into shape. Place the shaped dough into the prepared loaf pan, cover, and let rise again for 15–20 minutes. • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25–30 minutes, or until the loaf is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped. • Immediately brush the top with butter or olive oil for a soft, tender sandwich crust. • Remove the bread from the loaf pan and transfer it to a cooling rack to prevent the bottom from becoming soggy. • Allow the bread to cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing. Chef notes for optimal flavor boost these are optional but so good • Swap ¼ cup water for warm milk=softer crumb • Add ½ tsp garlic powder or onion powder = savory sandwich loaf • Put aside extra flour for dusting and managing stickiness • Add 1 tbsp maple syrup instead of sugar = subtle depth Texture Notes • Soft enough for PB&J • Strong enough for grilled cheese • Doesn’t crumble like store bread #sandwichbread #homemadebread #fromscratch

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rest at room temperature for at least 5 hours or until it has doubled in size and is bubbly. Lightly flour a work surface and your hands, then gently turn the dough onto the floured surface and shape it into a round or oval loaf. Avoid kneading to maintain the dough’s light texture. Line an oven-safe pot, 5x9 bread dish or Dutch oven with parchment paper, and place the dough seam-side down into the prepared pot. Cover with the lid / aluminum foil. Ingredients For the Bread: • 4 cups (500g) all-purpose flour • 1 tbsp (10g) salt • 1 ⅓ cup (325g) milk • 1 ½ tsp (7g) yeast • 1 tsp (5g) sugar • ½ stick (50g) butter, room temperature Instructions 1️⃣ Warm the milk, add yeast and sugar, stir slightly, and cover for 15 minutes. 2️⃣ In a mixer bowl (or on your counter), add flour and salt, then pour the milk mixture in the center and add butter. 3️⃣ Knead until soft and smooth. Cover and let rest for 30–45 minutes or until doubled in size. For the Garlic & Parsley Butter: • 4 garlic cloves • Olive oil • ½ stick (50g) butter, room temperature • Fresh chopped parsley • 200g white cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese) 1️⃣ Cover the garlic cloves with olive oil and confit over low heat for 15–20 minutes. In a bowl, mix yeast, sugar, and water. Add flour and mix. 2. Add salt and olive oil, then coil fold immediately (no waiting). Keep folding until the dough can’t fold anymore, then cover and leave in a warm place for 2 hours. 3. Lightly flour parchment paper. Divide dough into 4 portions and place on parchment. 4. Drizzle olive oil, gently flatten with your hands, and sprinkle oregano and coarse salt (optional). 5. Slide into a very hot oven with a preheated tray (preheat at least 30 minutes). 6. In a large bowl combine all ingredients and set aside in a warm place for 1h . HOMEMADE NO-KNEAD BREAD 🍞🤤 .. what i put on it at the end cant be beaten! Soooo easy & so satisfying! 1. Mix together 500g bread/all purpose flour, 2% salt (10g), 8g instant yeast & 375ml warm water 2. Leave that to chill out with a tea towel over the top for 20 mins 3. Then we want to fold the dough in the bowl. Go from bottom to top with a wet hand.. this is to develop gluten, it should eventually form into a tight ball 4. Then cover & leave for 90-120 mins 5. It should have risen considerably. Down flour your work surface and tip out your dough 6. Now we want to letter fold, think of the dough like a clock - 6->12 and keep spinning the dough around until you’ve gone around the clock twice 7. Now add to a floured proofing basket or tea towel in a bowl for about an hour to rise a little more and find its shape 8. Meanwhile ore heat your oven to about 220 degrees c, but you can go hotter and add your dish/pizza stone/dutch oven 9. Then add your dough in seem side up (so it splits open nicely) and wack in for 25 mins with the cover & 15 mins or so without the cover (keep an eye on browning) 10. Take it out and let it cool for 30 mins and ENJOY!!! 11. This same recipe can make pizza dough, baguettes, focaccia and more. Plus you can use leas yeast and leave it to overnight if you want!!🔥🔥 #nokneadbread #homemadebread

I used organic and unbleached flour (and love that I know exactly what’s in the food I’m feeding my family).❤️ Let me know what you think if you try! Ingredients: 2 1/2 C AP flour 2 1/2 C whole wheat flour 1 C crushed bran flakes 2 packages yeast 1 TB salt 1 C milk 1 C water 1/2 C honey 3 TB softened butter 1 egg Directions: •In large bowl, combine flour, whole wheat flour, crushed bran flakes, yeast and salt. Mix well. •Melt together milk, water, honey, and butter, then add to the flour mixture. •Add egg and mix at low speed (using a dough hook) until moistened. Then, beat for 3 minutes at medium speed. •Place in a greased bowl (make sure both sides of dough are greased) Then cover with a towel and let rise for an hour. •Punch down dough and divide into 2 parts •Roll tightly and pinch seams together to seal •Place in greased pans. Brown bread recipe 🤎🤎🤎 By @cookim_mama A copycat of Cheesecake Factory brown bread but better imo 💁🏻‍♀️ recipe makes 12 rolls and can be adapted to make loaves instead Dough: 410g bread flour 90g whole wheat flour 250g whole milk 20g brown sugar 20g molasses 40g honey 12g cocoa powder 4g instant coffee (2tsp) 1 egg 6g instant yeast 8g salt 50g butter (room temp) Tangzhong: 20g flour 100g milk +oats for coating 1. Make the tangzhong. Whisk all tangzhong ingredients in a small pot until no lumps remain. Then stir continuously over medium heat until the mixture resembles mashed potatoes. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 mins. Cover it with plastic wrap to prevent it from forming a skin. Meanwhile, dissolve the instant coffee in 250g of warm milk 2. In the bowl of a stand mixer, add the tangzhong and coffee/milk from step 1, along with all other dough ingredients except for butter. Using the dough hook attachment, mix until the dough comes together. Then add the butter and mix for 8-10 mins or until a rough window pane is achieved 3. Shape the dough into a ball, place into a bowl, cover, and let rise for 1-2hrs or until almost doubled in size 4. Punch dough to deflate and divide into 12 equal sections. Form into balls. Cover and let rest for 15 mins. Meanwhile lightly grease or line a 11”x11” pan 5. Doing one at a time, roll the dough into a long rectangle ~7” wide, then fold the right and left sides towards the center so that it’s ~3.5” wide. Then roll it up into a log as shown in the video, making sure to pinch and seal the seam. Repeat with the remaining dough 6. Roll each bun over a clean, damp dish cloth, then in some oats. Place the buns into the pan, cover, and let rise for ~45mins or until noticeably puffy 7. Preheat the oven to 350F and bake for 22-28mins #homemadebread #dinnerrolls #breadrecipe #easyrecipe
