GRAs a mother, times like these are cherished more than could ever be imagined.
They are worth more than gold. And they can’t be bought and they can’t be sold.
That day, sitting on her bed after she had been badly hurt from being made fun of over and over again- The sorrow I felt for her was crushing.
It’s one thing to take on damage yourself, but it’s an entirely different thing when you see it happen to your child.
So moments like these and others are held deeply in my heart, because I know how hard she has worked to get here.
Sometimes some of our greatest struggles in life become our strengths. Don’t be afraid of the struggle.
And know that disability or not -your child is full of wonderful potential .
