I did something ‘inefficient’ the other day and it brought me back to this. Am I going about life wrong? Would I be happier or more successful if I was more productive? Was this guy right?
What I’ve learned, is that while sometimes someone may shine a light on your insecurities, it doesn’t mean you have to make them part of your identity or try to change that person’s mind
I may always be an inefficient American girl in this guy’s eyes, but to others maybe I’m thoughtful or intentional. It’s all perspective and realizing if someone doesn’t appreciate the little things that make you, you - they probably aren’t your person (or a very good friend) 😉
