These evolving pieces are grounded in the rich textures of the earth, the fiery warmth of the sun, and of the shifting seasons, especially focusing on the golden intensity of summer. These abstracts aim to capture the sensation of landscape rather than its appearance, echoing volcanic heat and fired earth, mineral depth, and summer’s atmospheric glow. Layers of oil paint create immersive colour fields where light meets emotion, and land meets sky. Each painting is a meditation on movement, energy, and transition inviting the viewer to experience the wild beauty of the natural world through texture and tone. I’m excited announce my next solo exhibition is just around the corner: Saturday 5th July 2-4pm At the fabulous Clarendon Fine Art, Marlow. Slather some acrylic paint on a piece of spare cardboard and off you go! A word of warning though. Once you get started it can be quite addictive!!
