It is the cycle of nature that forms the ever-present inspiration that I seek to convey in KALEIDOSCOPE - 万花筒 — the sense of movement and fluidity that breathes life into each piece. Over the past decades, I have been honored to share my work with audiences around the globe; from the Found Museum in Beijing to the Groninger Museum in the Netherlands, the Erarta Museum in Russia, the Ulm Museum in Germany, and now, the Powerlong Museum in Shanghai.
This exhibition, which I have worked on over the last three years, holds particular significance for me as one of the most important exhibitions of my career. It represents a homecoming, a chance to share my artistic evolution with the community that first inspired my journey and to create a bridge between my heritage and the cross-cultural influences and discourses that have shaped me. My wish is to bring my art as a celebration of nature’s timeless rhythms; and through this exhibition, I hope to offer a moment of contemplation and joy, inviting each viewer to find their own connection to the delicacy of the natural world and the beauty of the singular flower within its ecology.
Thank you to the museum and my team for your trust in making my vision a reality! Thank you to all collectors, galleries, friends, and family who specially flew to Shanghai for this occasion.

At the Norman Rockwell Museum, founded in 1969, you can see how Rockwell applied a gentler form of chiaroscuro—using warm highlights and soft shadows to guide the viewer’s eye and bring everyday scenes to life. COThe Nethercutt Museum and Collection is a hidden gem that can’t be missed! 💎
Housed in an unassuming building, the @thenethercuttcollection is the private collection of rare cars, musical instruments and other antiques once owned by the founder of Merle Norman Cosmetics, J.B Nethercutt. 💄
My favorite part? The Grand Salon, which is designed to look like a car dealership from 1920s and features rare Duesenbergs and other cars from the 1910s, 20s and 30s. 🚘
What to know about visiting:
🎟️ The Nethercutt Museum is $5 to visit. If you want to view the Nethercutt Collection, which is what we did, you must make reservations for a tour. Tours of the collection are $20 per person.
⏰ The Museum is open Th-Sat 9:00am - 4:30pm. Tours of the collection are given Thursday and Friday at 10:00am and Saturday at 10:00am and 1:30pm
