AS✨world premiere musical by the beach? sign me up! ✨
@itsrebeccajoelle & I headed down to the jersey show to @njrep to see ‘how my grandparents fell in love’ a brand new jewish musical that was sweet, funny, romantic and surprisingly timely.
it was such JOY to see @beccaflower & @harrismilgrim tell this story together and I think everyone in the audience fell a little bit in love too.
I had never been to @njrep before but it’s a gorgeous little theater all about new work. In their almost 30 year history they’ve had 125 world premieres which is incredible!! this one’s running until august 10th, so if you’re anywhere near the jersey shore, make the trip. it’s worth it. I can’t wait to see how this show develops💜

Sunday night and Monday night staged readings of NACHO ATE SPIDERMAN were sold out at @pacificresidenttheatre and @njrep! Thank you to the west coast crew, @caseystsngl @jennifergrey @danbucatinsky @pjsactor @tonyspasqualini and @daliavosylius, and the east coast crew, @sarahnorris002 @alysiareiner @davidalanbasche @jamesseol and @chrisdaftsios It felt good to have some laughs!
