I am going to do my best everyday to consider the patient as a whole and treat their body, mind, and spirit. 🤍 If you didn’t know, DO’s can practice in any specialty. Historically, many do choose primary care specialties like FM, IM, and peds, but more and more DO’s are practicing in more “competitive” specialties such as surgery, derm, anesthesia, GI, cards, ortho, etc. And, we had some more classes/labs in med school to learn our osteopathic manipulative medicine techniques & lecture material!😅 Happy National Osteopathic Medicine or #NOM Week!!
