EMI love a good controller reshell! 🌿
They are so much fun to do and I just love having pretty things! They also might seem rather intimidating but they really are not too hard to do! You just mainly need to unscrew some buttons and take out a few ribbon cables/connectors! ✨️
I wish there would have been replacement buttons in colours that matched the purple and mint on the joycons but there were none I could find, at least yet!
While I did this, I also fixed a broken fan for a friend's switch (1) and that was also a pretty fun process! 🫶🏻

HOShould You Buy a Switch 2 Just to Play Pokopia?
✨note: this video has clips of gameplay, but I kept it to only the starter area and tried to avoid showing any spoilers other than Pokémon and early game items
I was interested in this game but was heavily in the fence about dropping $500+ for a console when this is still the only exclusive I really wanted. But the reviews were raving, and it’s my birthday soon, so I treated myself to an early birthday present 😂
✨Was it worth it??
The short answer- Yes! It was worth it for me!
The long answer- If you like cozy games like Animal Crossing you will probably like this game. It feels like if you mixed Pokémon, Animal Crossing, and put it in a Minecraft world where you never have to fight anything.
For me it is a dream, BUT if you don’t like sand boxes, and hate “tedious” tasks you may not be a fan.
There is enough variety in things to do that I don’t mind fixing and building my world up brick by brick, but this style may not be for everyone. Especially if you love story driven games. There is story but it doesn’t feel like the main focus.
But if you love crafting, explorations, and open world games, there is a good chance you’ll love Pokopia
I also understand this is a lot of money, if you don’t have the funds right now, Pokopia will still be here!
But if you are on the fence- I don’t regret it buying it now rather than in a few months or a year like I had planned.
