UNGermany is reshaping renewable energy with a suitcase-sized micro-hydropower station that can turn a flowing stream into a continuous source of electricity. Designed for off-grid use, this portable system offers an environmentally friendly alternative that requires minimal installation and can operate for years with very little maintenance.
Developed by the Munich-based startup Smart Hydro Power, the compact generator is intended for decentralized household and village-scale power supply. SHI’ll take the most simple and stress-free version of life please! I actually did a test recently and found out that my ancestors were likely nomadic people who moved around with their cattle, and I feel that to my core. But seriously, it makes me sad that we live in a world where we have to spend more time working than with family and doing our hobbies. The whole system needs to be taken apart and then put back together VERY differently, in my opinion 😬 not sure where I’m going with this caption so this is a good place to finish writing it and say, have a good week ahead, spend as much time doing things you love as you can 🌿
