MHI originally created this animation in 2018 for the Video Copilot Live Show title sequence. It was an incredible experience: my first time presenting my work in public, and a chance to meet one of the most influential people in my motion design journey, @andrewkramer . We still collaborate from time to time, and his feedback remains just as inspiring.
The response to “Chapter One” was overwhelmingly positive. This personal project truly kickstarted my career as a motion director and led to much bigger collaborations.
My advice to young motion designers: keep creating, work on personal projects, and share them — great things can come from it.
