Although everyone who’s into #skincare knows about #hyaluronicacid , not many know about #polyglutamicacid . That’s starting to change as it becomes more and more popular in #skincareproducts ! Polyglutamic acid, like hyaluronic acid, is a humectant (meaning it can hold ridiculously large amounts of water) and so increases hydration in your skin! However, Polyglutamic acid (PGA) is a larger molecule, so it’s better for surface hydration and doesn’t penetrate very deep. But this means that you get more INSTANT results from its use and it’s even better at giving your skin that super dewy look. PGA is also more effective at decreasing the appearance of fine lines and pores. That said, you can use BOTH hyaluronic acid AND Polyglutamic acid which is beneficial as they have slightly differing benefits and it would be to our advantage to be able to use both! I would apply the hyaluronic acid serum first and then follow with PGA.
