BESpotting Saturday! They can push up into a bridge from the floor, arms straight, head off the ground…now what? Time to stat learning a back bend! My favourite technique is spotting with my fingers behind the arms and my thumb pushing down in front, right at the shoulders. It helps me guide into the right position, control the speed, AND ensure they are arching and trying to go for the narrow bridge. Don’t worry if they are reaching far from their feet, keep parting and it will come! Most importantly: keep feet FLAT on the ground, NO TIPPY TOES!
