and why you need these incandescent lamps for your shower 💡💤 CIRCADIAN RHYTHM: 🌞 The sun IS our red light. 🔴 Red light is soothing to the body - which is why you get sleepy in the sun. It lowers cortisol and helps produce melatonin. 🌅 So when the sun goes down, our body starts shifting into rest mode. Cortisol levels drop and melatonin production begins in order to prepare the body to wind down for sleep. What happens when our body is shifting into this mode, but all our LED lights are on? 🔵 LED lights have a very intense flicker that is hard to recognize with your bare eyes, but your eyes and brain receive that flicker and in induces stress and cortisol to the body. Blue light also stimulates our cortisol production and drastically halts our melatonin production. Which is why using LED lights, computers, tv’s and our phones in the evening has a HUGE impact on our nervous system and is keeping us all in a subtle state of stress and/or fight or flight. 💡I switched all of our lightbulbs to incandescent bulbs 10 months ago. The ones I’m currently using allow me to change the settings so the light gets progressively warmer in red as the day goes on all in one bulb. 💡 I also added these portable lamps that charge through a USB cord around the house. In the bathroom, kitchen, living room, etc! Anywhere I can move them around to add light to a space that I need without turning on any big lights. The Rothschilds eliminated bread, pastries, pasta. They ate protein, vegetables, fats. And lived 95+. 2. Juice - even freshly squeezed. “Juice is sugar without fiber.” A glass of orange juice = 6 spoons of sugar. The liver ages, skin becomes dull. They ate whole fruits, slowly, once a day. 3. Milk - after 45. “Milk was created for calves, not adults.” The body loses lactase - causing bloating, acne, swelling. Calcium isn’t absorbed. Only fermented goat milk - occasionally. 4. Potatoes - any kind. “Pure starch, enemy of longevity.” After 40, metabolism slows - potatoes = belly fat. Replacement: sweet potato and cauliflower. 5. Vegetable oil - sunflower, corn. “Industrial poison in a bottle.” Trans fats destroy cells. They cooked only with ghee, coconut, or olive oil. 6. Fruit after 6 PM. “In the evening, fructose becomes fat, not energy.” They ate only before 2 PM. After - protein and vegetables. 7. Red meat - maximum twice a week. “After 40 - it’s inflammatory fire.” Their diet was based on fish, poultry, seafood. 8. Alcohol - even wine. “After 40, the liver doesn’t forgive a single gram.” They drank wine only 3-4 times a year. Daily - water, herbal teas, broths. 9. Early breakfast. “Give your body time for autophagy.” First meal - at 11-12. This way the body cleanses and rejuvenates. 10. Packaged products. “If it lives longer than a week - it’s not food.” No semi-finished products or preservatives. Only fresh, prepared the same day.
