· H&M and Stella McCartney launched a Sustainability Insights Board to accelerate circular fashion and scale materials such as regenerative organic cotton and bio‑based faux leather.
· Ralph Lauren dropped its broad net‑zero target, resetting its sustainability strategy around concrete, near‑term, and measurable goals.
· A recent Drapers’ Consumer Report found 94% of consumers want to shop more sustainably, reflecting growing interest in slow living and seasonless fashion.
· At Paris Fashion Week, Louis Vuitton debuted 100% plant‑based fur for Fall/Winter 2026, developed with fashion‑tech startup BioFluff.
· Gucci continues to expand use of Demetra, its animal‑free leather alternative made from roughly 77% plant‑based materials, including wood pulp and responsibly sourced viscose.
· Rubi Laboratories, producer of carbon‑negative, biodegradable textiles, secured $7.5 million in funding and over $60 million in offtake agreements with major fashion brands.
