The BJP government led by Narendra Modi is linking Women’s Reservation to delimatation and a massive expansion of Lok Sabha seats raising serious questions about intent and fairness.
Let’s be clear:
Women’s Reservation is about empowerment, not political arithmetic.
📉 What this really means:
States that prioritized education, development, and population control risk losing their fair voice.
States with higher population growth stand to gain disproportionate influence.
This is not cooperative federalism this is imbalance by design through delimatation.
We strongly support 33% reservation for women.
But we will not accept any attempt to misuse delimatation to distort representation and weaken federal principles.
Empower women. Don’t distort democracy.
Delink Women’s Reservation from delimatation.
