RAI’m an instrumentation engineer, so I don’t always get to carry a laptop—most of my work happens on-site. This was my site visit on New Year’s Day. As site engineers, holidays on New Year’s Day are rare, and getting a day off is almost impossible.
That day, no workers turned up initially, so there wasn’t much work, but we were still on standby. Later, a few team members arrived, and we coordinated with them so the work could start early. If the work finishes early, it can be handed over sooner—that was the plan, and that’s why we waited.
