VELARIO® Slim integrates photovoltaic technology directly into a standing-seam metal roof with high-efficiency 𝗧𝗢𝗣𝗖𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆.
Instead of mounting solar panels, the roof itself becomes the energy system while preserving architectural design. The slim module format allows architects to maximise usable roof surfaces, including complex roof geometries.
With a weight of only ~𝟭𝟲 𝗸𝗴/𝗺², the system is considerably lighter than traditional roofing combined with on-roof solar panels, making it particularly suitable for renovation projects.

A striking example can be found in the Austrian Alps, where the historic Alpine House (Ostpreußenhütte) produces renewable energy at 1630 meters above sea level with an almost invisible solar roof built for extreme conditions.
