We flew @southwestair Day 2: Get up early and explore Old San Juan in the morning. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool or going to the beach. Day 3: Drive to El Yunque National Forest, then stop at the Luquillo Kiosks for lunch on the way back to San Juan. Sunset at Escambrón Beach. Day 4: Spend the morning in Old San Juan before taking a road trip to Rincon on the west coast of Puerto Rico. Check into your Airbnb. Day 5: Have a slow morning, then head to Sandy Beach in Rincon. Have dinner at Villa Cofresi. Day 6: Drive down to Cabo Rojo to see the lighthouse and cliffs. Stop in Boqueron for lunch and a cool photo opp. Day 7: Check out of your Airbnb and drive back to San Juan. This one is budget friendly! 📍230 S LaSalle St, Chicago, IL 60604 💵FREE admission Hours Monday-Friday 10am-5pm Saturday/Sunday Closed The Chicago Fed Money Museum lets you get up close to a million bucks (that money cube is a million $1 bills), learn the wild history of U.S. currency, and even leave with a bag of shredded bills (it’s a FREE souvenir and made of about $364!). There are only 12 Federal Reserve Banks in the United States & we are lucky to have one in Chicago. We got to take a shot at picking out counterfeit bills. Did you see that money pit of coins? It’s an elevator shaft filled with $50,000 worth of coins! The security guard described this place perfectly. Idea 1: Go to a new park or one you haven’t been to in a while, or to one on the other side of town. There are soooo many around here! Idea 2: Try a new restaurant, one you’ve never been to before, or one that has been on your list forever. Idea 3: Go on a hike/drive somewhere with dinosaur fossils. Idea 4: Choose an indoor activity to do - whether it’s playing at a McDonald’s playground, swimming at the SHAC, or playing at @confettikidsclub or the @sgchildrensmuseum Idea 5: Become a local tourist. Do all the things we normally avoid 😉 - Dixie rock, Townsquare carousel, treat at Judds, Red Hills Desert Garden, Thunder Junction. Idea 6: Head out for a day! When’s the last time you’ve spent the day at Zion, Kanab, Cedar City, or Vegas? Choose one and make a day trip out of it! Idea 7: Find a hike that’s less known and go hike it! Comment “link” and I can send you links to some we love! Idea 8: Tour a historical building in town. The St George Tabernacle, Brigham Young House, Jacob Hamblin Home, or Silver Reef Mine are all places to learn more about the history of St George. Idea 9: Go for a walk or bike ride on a walking trail in town. Some of my favorites are: Mayors Loop, Lava Flow Trail on Pioneer Parkway, Virgin River Trail by Sullivan Park, and The Missing Link trail. Idea 10: Go swimming!! Who says you can’t during spring break 😜 The Washington Rec Center & Sand Hollow Aquatic Center are great places to go indoors! Arcadia allows day guests and their pools are heated, and Jellystone opens up for weekends on March 14th! What would you add to this list?
