REJaden Renee Charles, a 25-year-old former Texas middle school science teacher, was arrested in March 2024 for allegedly grooming and supplying alcohol and THC vapes to underage male students. The investigation began after a student was caught vaping on campus, leading to revelations involving up to 12 possible victims. Surveillance footage showed Charles with a student at a hotel off-campus. She resigned, claimed to be pregnant upon arrest, and is currently held on a $400,000 bond with strict conditions, including wearing an ankle monitor.

SAAfter reading @freetheanxiousgeneration book this summer, each of my kids thought it would be fun to take the challenge to do something hard without parents.
Wells went to chicfila alone. Breck flew a puppy to another state, took an uber to get lunch and flew home the same day. Berdee walked 2 miles to Walmart with a friend. And Riz took a train to SLC with a friend, got lunch, and caught the train back home.
To celebrate all their accomplishments, we decided to send them out for a nice steak dinner, ALONE of course.
We discussed different scenarios, like what to do if they were refused service, and how much to tip when they got the check.
Then we did what any other proud parent would do, snagged a booth a couple rows over so we could sneak a few peeks to make sure things were going well.
The kids knew we were there but didn’t know where. The staff didn’t know we were there and didn’t question the kids about it at all. They treated them just like any other patron. They were kind and helpful and we all had a great experience celebrating our challenges with a challenge!
