KEI first met @malachibarton in 2023, and I have been a big fan ever since—from The Villains of Valley View to the Under Wraps movies and more. ~2000 BCE – According to Islamic tradition, Prophet Ibrahim builds the first Kaaba in an empty desert valley.
630 CE – The Kaaba is purified after the conquest of Mecca and restored as a sanctuary for the worship of one God.
750 CE – Early Islamic empires expand the mosque, forming the first large sanctuary around the Kaaba.
1700 – Ottoman architecture shape Masjid al-Haram with domes, arches and tall minarets.
1990 – Major modern expansions begin to accommodate millions of pilgrims.
2012 – The Abraj Al Bait clock tower rises above the mosque skyline.
2026 – Today the Grand Mosque surrounds the Kaaba at the heart of the largest pilgrimage site on Earth.
