Honestly though, now I’m romanticizing putting my bed into couch mode haha.
I LOVE having friends that use this feature regularly in their vans because it ends up being the hangout van… and that is my literal nightmare for myself. (Also I’d lose out on all my under bed storage)
There is no perfect van build. I used to stress over getting it EXACTLY right when building out my van, but the thing is - after 6 months or a year or 2 years, you’re going to wish you did things differently.
Also when you have a van you can’t stand up in, there’s really only so much you can do to make a space “livable” on the inside.
👉🏻 what would be your non negotiable in a van? So many non van life people tried to talk me out of putting in space for a toilet and omg it’s the best thing I did
