I’m on the training floor, on client calls, writing programs, speaking and educating at conferences, or going live on TV for my NBC Coach’s Corner segments. No matter where I am, I need nutrition that keeps up. Each protein stick packs 18 grams of protein, so it’s both filling and protein fortified, and one of the easiest ways I know to help myself and my clients stay on track with daily protein goals. Running multiple businesses, being a coach, showing up for my family… it’s a full plate. And ironically, that full plate sometimes means I don’t actually get a full plate of food. I’ve put on a good amount of mass over the last six months—not from eating too much, but from not eating enough of the right things. When I don’t manage my nutrition, I feel it. Inflamed. Slow. Groggy. Pain starts creeping in. Energy drops. And I start moving through life in survival mode instead of high performance. Tracking my food might sound extreme to some, but if you’ve ever tried to do everything for everyone while building a dream… you know how easy it is to put yourself last. Sometimes, the only thing I have time for is a protein shake—and that’s why quality matters. I use Level-1 because it works as hard as I do: • Sustained-release protein = fuel for longer • Helps prevent muscle breakdown = I stay stronger, longer • Tastes GOOD = I actually want it Drop “DRINK UP” in the comments and I’ll drop a link to the protein along with all of the ways I utilize it! My go-to? Chocolate or Caramel Latte (seasonal flavors are where it’s at, but when the Pumpkin Spice stash runs out, we go classic). I mix mine with milk, use it in coffee, or bake it into a mug cake when I want a warm treat with purpose. Bottom line: If you don’t track it, you can’t manage it. And if you don’t manage it, you can’t expect to feel your best. Fuel your body like it’s the machine that carries your mission.
