Where curiosity meets creativity, exploration begins and learning unfolds. The students of the American International School of Chennai (AISC) visited Shilpa Architects as a part of their Career X programme, a one-week initiative that is designed to introduce them to a professional workspace. A few young minds chose to explore the world of Architecture and selected Shilpa Architects to experience the creative studio culture, interact with the experts and learn alongside the community of practicing Architects. This exposes them to an interactive working environment, within a natural, calm and cozy workspace where work flows around nature. Choosing different projects to explore, they get to learn from the team, share knowledge with their peers, carry forward a wholesome experience to their future. Steel must be used as the primary structural material with a special emphasis placed on innovation in steel design. Students are invited to participate in the following categories: ⁠ ⁠ Category I: Community Dance Center⁠ Design a Community Dance Center in an area of your choice. Students are invited to submit design proposals that address how this program can contribute to the community as a more integral part of the civic fabric.⁠ ⁠ Category II: Open⁠ Offers architecture students the opportunity to select a site and building program using steel as the primary material.
