COMy IPS gaming monitor stopped working a few days ago, and I was honestly tempted to go for an extremely budget-friendly QD-OLED from @alienwareindia @alienware since I’ve never experienced QD before. I’ve been using a WOLED TV for years now, so I was curious to see the difference.
To be honest, the picture quality is absolutely outstanding. The colors are so good I literally can’t stop staring at the screen 😭🔥
And gaming at 280Hz feels insane. The input latency is almost nonexistent, which genuinely helps in my competitive matches in Valorant 🔥

As a person who spends most of his day at his desk setup, I thought to myself — why shouldn’t I invest in a top tier monitor if I’m going to stare at it all day?
And so I did.
This is the Dell Alienware AW3423DWF 34” ultrawide OLED gaming monitor. Its primary attraction lies in its jaw-dropping beautiful Quantom Dot OLED panel — look at its rich contrast and deep true blacks! It also sports 1440p resolution, a 0.1ms latency, and works up to 165hz.
While it absolutely blows minds for media consumption, there is some chromatic aberration present underneath fine text that can be visible if you’re close enough to the monitor. This isn’t too ideal for productivity use since they’re usually full of text —and an issue like this really shouldn’t be present for a monitor at this price point— but aside from that, it’s great.
I did get this at about $250 less than market rate eitherway, which is a steal. 😌 And I do need to get a new monitor light bar that is compatible with this monitor, plus new monitor backlights!
