Easy upcycle: this week is a an alteration from a dress from @traid . We have enough clothing for the next 6 generations so finding something in a charity shop and giving it a little alter to ♻️💚 Steps: 1. Try it on to see where it could fit better 2. I decide on ties and need to make the armholes bigger/lower 3. Unpick armholes and cut off 3cm. Pin the together and topstitch for ease (as the dress is finished, bagging them out would have been more tricky) 4. Unpick hem and cut it off to make the ties 5. Decide on tie placement and stitch them onto the waist 6. Finished! A little elastic and a few tries at sewing it onto the shoulder seams later and it feels like I have a brand new shirt!!!
