Therian es un movimiento de identidad que gira en torno a personas que sienten una identificación profunda, interna y no metafórica, con un animal no humano.
📌 ¿Qué es un therian?
Un therian es alguien que afirma que, a nivel psicológico o espiritual, es en parte o esencialmente un animal, aunque biológicamente sea humano.
No se trata simplemente de “gustar mucho” de un animal, sino de experimentar lo que llaman: Identidad animal interna “Phantom shifts” (sensación de tener cola, alas, etc.).
Por ejemplo, una persona puede identificarse como lobo (wolf therian), perro, gato, cuervo, caracol,..etc. No creen que su cuerpo físico sea animal, sino que su identidad interna lo es.
- Tienen conductas instintivas asociadas al animal:
- Y una conexión espiritual o psicológica profunda.
El término moderno se consolidó en comunidades online en los años 90, especialmente en foros y grupos vinculados a la cultura digital temprana.
