I personally don’t like the process of blocking but it’s so worth it in the end!
I always wet block my knitted projects (instead of steam block) because I find it easier to shape and stretch your garments when it’s fully wet. It’s definitely more time consuming, having to wash it, let it sit, drain, towel dry, and lastly, air dry it on blocking mats but I never regret it! I also just prefer my knitted garments to be washed cause I do drop my balls of yarn on the floor a lot, bring it with me to cafes, etc. I feel like steaming just doesn’t feel as clean haha. I also had some problems with my garments shrinking back after I try to stretch them after steaming. Idk if I’m just doing something wrong haha.
