If you’re coming from Milan, this beautiful town is less than 2 hours by train.
The historic center features cobblestone roads, quaint restaurants, and Stockalper Palace. Brig also has one of the largest open-air thermal centers in all of Switzerland.
In the winter, you can relax in the town’s thermal baths and ski down the slopes of the Simplon Pass. Situated along the famous Glacier Express, Brig is also a great stopping point on your way to Zermatt and St. Moritz.
During the warmer months, you can hike the region’s trails with over 150 km of marked paths. There are also bike trails on the Simplon and Lötschberg.
