In Wisconsin, which seems to have had a larger Native voter turnout in 2020 than in 2016, the Red Cliff and Bad River Bands of Lake Superior Chippewa, the Menomini Tribe and the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mahicans were among those who helped turn Wisconsin blue. Even in states like Montana and South Dakota, which both went red, counties that overlapped reservation lands saw significant Native voter turnout.

ANIf for some reason you forgot, the 13th amendment says slavery is still allowed for prisoners. Some states have minimum wages, but mine (TX) doesn’t. When I read news that people are being taken prisoner (meaning they don’t have constitutional protection from slavery) AND that these people are being sent to other countries- it sounds a little too familiar to the slave trade we were taught about in school.
I’m glad media that critiques yt supremacy, and highlights civil rights issues is being appreciated right now, but I hope we’re all thinking critically and asking how this art reflects the current state of our society- and most importantly ask ourselves what we can do to make real life look less like a horror film.
