He actually doesn’t do this as often anymore, these vids are from the first few months I had him and he was opening up around me. I just kept completely ignoring him when he made annoying noises and giving him attention when he made nice noises and now he’s much better
I am Niko’s third owner, he is 24 years old and captive-bred. Do an abundance of research before deciding to get a bird (they are TERRIBLE pets, I love them but they are not good for the average person who loves themselves, their hearing, their baseboards, and/or clean floors), and if you do decided to get a bird, adopt don’t shop. Too many birds need homes

PA🐕 Yamato's Rescue: Bella and the Kidnapper
The air in the quiet Japanese town of Kōbe suddenly turned tense. Yamato, a young man known for his quick wit and surprising strength, was walking near the docks when he heard a faint, desperate whimper. It was Bella, a sweet Golden Retriever belonging to his elderly neighbor, Mrs. Tanaka.
Bella was usually seen trotting happily beside Mrs. Tanaka, but today, she was being shoved into the back of a beat-up white van by a shady-looking man. Yamato’s eyes widened as he heard the man mutter something chilling into a phone, "Got the catch. Manila tomorrow. They'll pay a fortune for the best Aso."
Yamato didn't need a translator to understand the grave threat. He knew that "Aso" was a local term for dog, and the mention of Manila, combined with the man’s furtive movements, painted a grim picture: Bella was being kidnapped for the illegal dog meat trade, possibly destined for a sickening fate under the guise of an exotic dish.
Adrenaline surged. Thinking fast, Yamato grabbed a length of discarded rope used for tying up small fishing boats. As the van lurched into motion, he sprinted forward, leaping onto the rear bumper. He clung on tightly as the van sped towards the main highway.
Inside, the kidnapper, named Rico, noticed a slight shift in the van's balance. He cursed, slowing down slightly near a poorly lit tunnel. This was Yamato’s chance. With a powerful tug, he yanked the rope, wrapping it around the van’s rear axle and simultaneously pulling his weight off the bumper and onto the road.
The van shuddered and came to a grinding halt. Rico rushed out, furious, but Yamato was already at the back door. He didn't fight—he used his speed. He kicked the latch, pulled the door open, and there she was: Bella, terrified but unharmed.
"Come on, girl!" Yamato yelled. Bella, recognizing her rescuer, leaped out of the van and bolted straight towards the direction of Mrs. Tanaka’s house.
Rico lunged, but Yamato sidestepped, using the sudden movement to send the kidnapper stumbling. Before Rico could recover, Yamato whistled loudly—a signal he often used when training with the neighborhood kids. Within minutes,...
