WEDJs — did you know jog wheels behave differently on controllers vs CDJs?
A lot of beginner DJs struggle with beatmatching when moving from controllers to CDJs — and this is usually why.
On controllers, slow jog wheel nudges work because they’re digital and forgiving. But CDJ jog wheels are mechanical, meaning slow movements often do nothing at all.
The fix?👉 Short, sharp nudges.
If you want to beatmatch properly on club-standard gear, you need to adjust your technique — not your tempo.
